ABOUT ME

I’m a freelance journalist with 22 years’ experience writing and editing for magazines, newspapers and websites. During my career, I’ve written for a range of publications including Grand Designs, Ideal Home, House Beautiful, Livingetc, Woman & Home, Stylist, Shortlist and Wired UK. While I write about a range of lifestyle topics, I have a special interest in design, interiors and technology.

 Before going freelance I held in-house positions as Features Writer at both 25 Beautiful Homes magazine and BBC Good Homes magazine. I was also Features Editor at Ideal Home magazine and Editorial Director at online luxury lifestyle store Achica.com. I’ve been a Contributing Editor to Wired UK magazine, where I continue to write regularly for the publication. I have appeared as an expert guest on both the BBC News TV channel and BBC radio and presented numerous online videos.

 I also enjoy copywriting and have worked with respected brands such as Panasonic, Marks & Spencer, Dyson and Conran Design Group.
