ABOUT ME

I’m a freelance journalist with 22 years’ experience writing and editing for magazines, newspapers and websites. I have written for a range of magazines and newspapers including Livingetc, GQ, Grand Designs, Ideal Home, TechRadar, House Beautiful, Woman & Home, Stylist, Shortlist and Wired. I cover a range of lifestyle topics from design and interiors to travel, food, fitness and wellbeing, and I have a special interest in writing about the latest tech - be it for the home or on the go.

 Before going freelance I held in-house positions as Features Writer at both 25 Beautiful Homes magazine and BBC Good Homes magazine. I was also Features Editor at Ideal Home magazine and Editorial Director at online luxury lifestyle store Achica.com. I’ve been a Contributing Editor to Wired magazine, where I continue to write regularly for the publication. I have appeared as an expert guest on both the BBC News TV channel and BBC radio and presented numerous online videos.

 I also enjoy copywriting and have worked with respected brands such as Panasonic, Marks & Spencer, Dyson and Conran Design Group.
